was born following the very successful Golden Jubilee Celebrations back in 2002. Organised by Geoff Jennings the event was a massive success that brought all the village together and Geoff now Chairs the LBE committee who over the past seven years have hosted numerous events that have been supported by the faithful.
The Vision (from the chairman)
"my aim in setting up the events committee was to provide a means by which we could organise local events for the enjoyment of the villages. The events are open to both residents of Little and Great Bourton although unfortunately I think the LBE title puts some of the Great Bourton Residents off. This is a shame as this was not our intention.
We as a committee all act purely voluntarily and we meet regularly to review and plan future events. We have now committed to annually donating some of the proceeds to local charities and all other proceeds are used for the funding of future events and equipment."
