The Cropredy Painting Group currently draws members from Great Bourton, Little Bourton, Mollington, Farnborough, Middleton Cheney, Claydon, Eydon and Banbury as well as Cropredy. It meets every Monday from 2.30-4.30pm from October to May in the Village Hall, Cropredy, with a professional Tutor to assist us. Some members also go outdoor painting to local venues every Monday throughout the Summer months.
The Tutored sessions are fee-bearing and limited to 16 members (we have one or two vacancies at present). However, there is no restriction on numbers for the outdoor painting which is free (no Tutoring apart from encouragement and help from other members!). All painting media are in use by members including watercolour, acrylics, pastel, oils and mixed media.
The start of the 2010 session is October 4th 2010 running for 10 weeks.
The Group holds an exhibition of members' work every November in Cropredy.
This is a very friendly, sociable Group and suitable for both beginners and more advanced painters. We have an extensive library of painting books and DVDs to help members to improve their skills.
