Flood Alleviation Scheme Archaeological Works
Posted by Julie Tomlin on Jul 08 2010The Archaeological works connected with the Banbury Flood Alleviation Scheme commence 5th July for approximately 10 weeks. Access to the site is via Little Bourton - Chapel Lane. Note that this will not be the access for the main Flood Alleviation Scheme works due to commence in 2011.
There will be some "small" increase in vehicle movements because of this, and residents along Chapel Lane should have received notice of this from The Environment Agency. If you have any problems please contact Richard Brown of Oxford Archaeology on 01865 980728 or any Parish Councillor.
