New bus service - timetable confirmed.
Posted by Julie Tomlin on Feb 15 2011The GA01 bus service is being diverted through the Bourtons for the duration of the flood alleviation works. Geoff Amos and Oxfordshire County Council will be monitoring how the service is used by Cropredy and the Bourtons throughout this time. If we use it we may not lose it!
This is a near hourly bus service to Banbury, with many useful stops in town including the hospital, Morrisons and Bridge Street. It can also be used to travel to Cropredy, or to Williamscot, Wardington and villages beyond. See the timetable here.
Adult fares from the Bourtons to some of the towns and villages on route:
Banbury £2.30
Wardington £2.30 from Great Bourton; £2.40 from Little Bourton
Chipping Warden £2.60
Byfield/Woodford Halse/Eydon £2.80
Badby £3.50
Daventry £3.60
Braunston £3.90
Dunchurch £4.60
Rugby £4.70
Children (5-16 years) travel at half the Adult Fares above. Children under 5 travel free.
Dogs and cycles travel for 80p! No charge for guide dogs, wheelchairs or buggies.
