Friends of All Saints

‘The Friends’ are volunteers – there is no need to attend Church to be involved – who help to raise money for the maintenance and conservation of the Church and Clocktower.  Funds are raised through activities e.g. December raffle or via events such as the Big Breakfasts and the Summer  Strawberry Fayre.  We welcome ideas, help and support from anyone interested in caring for the iconic ‘centre piece’ of our lovely village and community.

  • Strawberry Fayre – what an amazing afternoon we had! The weather was glorious and the support quite overwhelming at times – particularly for those of us serving teas and scones and trying to keep the milk and cream cool in such high temperatures.  The various activities and catering sales raised over £500, half of which was donated to Cluster Care (please see separate tab on this website).  Thank you to the Ennis family for the venue and kind donation of tea, Gina for lots of scones and to all the many other bakers.  Many Friends contributed and gave of their time so thank you to all involved.

Bourtons’ Big Breakfast – thank you to all who joined us in March and enjoyed a Big Breakfast – we raised over £300 for the Fabric fund and once again special thanks go to Lynne & Bryan at Littlegood Farm for the eggs; and also to James at Banbury Butchers for the sausages, bacon and black pudding!

We look forward to seeing you once again at the October Breakfast…

  • Churchyard Tidy: watch out for dates – ‘more hands make light work’ – bring your gardening gloves and spend a couple of hours tidying up around the church!
  • Food Bank– there is a collection point in the Church; please feel free to call in and leave your donations.  See Church ‘tab’ for opening times.
